Language & Communication
Every child develops communication skills at their own pace — but if you're worried that your child's speech, language or communication isn't where you'd expect it to be, early support can make a real difference. At Eat Chat Play, we provide private speech and language therapy for children aged 0–10 across Berkshire, offering personalised assessments and 1:1 therapy sessions tailored to your child's unique needs.
Our language and communication service is led by Chelsea Ridge, a qualified paediatric speech and language therapist. Chelsea offers expert assessment and therapy for a wide range of speech, language and communication needs, using a play-based approach that keeps children engaged and motivated.
Sessions can take place at your child's home, nursery or school — across Windsor, Ascot, Bracknell, Maidenhead, Reading, Slough, Egham and surrounding areas in Berkshire.

-
Your child isn't combining two words by age 2
-
Your child's speech is difficult to understand at age 3+
-
Your child is struggling to follow instructions or understand what's being said
-
Your child's teacher or nursery has raised concerns about their communication
-
Your child is waiting for NHS speech therapy and you'd like to start sooner
